IPI supports IRRI through contribution to the workgroup on Nutrients and Productivity at the Irrigated Rice Research Consortium (IRRC).

Enhancing profitability of rice farming in Asia through improved nutrient and crop management.

The site-specific nutrient management (SSNM) approach provides robust and universal principles for optimally supplying rice with essential nutrients.

'SSNM products' are tangible aids the farmer and extension officer can work with to improve nutrient management of irrigated rice.

The workgroup on nutrients and productivity at the IRRC has published and presented numerous publications to the scientific and extension audiences.
