The effect of Potassium (K) fertilization on growth, yields, appearance, quality, stress tolerance of plants and nutritional symptoms is demonstrated in a series of pictures and short explanations.
All the pictures are taken from IPI projects in India, China, Brazil, Malaysia and more. The people who took the pictures (IPI coordinators and cooperators) are not professional photographers, they used rather simple equipment and the light and background conditions were not always optimal. But they are all real from the field, reflecting the straight forward response of a plant or fruit to the nutritional status of potassium.
We encourage you to use our pictures with appropriate citation. Have you got an interesting picture you would like to add? Please send this to us; we will be glad to add it to this K gallery.
