Potash manuring for arable crops

PDA publications on Potash manuring for arable cropsPublished by PDA (Potash Development Association, UK) the author of this leaflet, Johnny Johnston, describes some well known, but often overlooked, facts relating to potash; namely the soil-crop relationship, the dynamics of K in soils, the different pools and their contribution to the K supply to crops. As important is the nitrogen-potash relationship because, “adequate K reserves (in soils) are essential to achieve the best possible response to N and thus reduce unit costs of production.”
