Short Course: Soil Carbon Sequestration for Climate Change Mitigation and Food Security

This training course will cover various topics related to soil carbon sequestration, field visits and laboratory training and develop a school of thought to promote carbon positive management practices in Indian Agriculture.

For this course, 25 participants from all over the country will be selected subject to the following criteria:

• A Post-graduate in Soil Science/Agronomy/Environmental Sciences and related disciplines
• A Research Scholar / Fellow or College / University researcher/teacher having at least 2 years research / teaching experience in relevant field and working knowledge of Computers.
• Age: below 40 years, relaxable by 5 years in deserving cases at the discretion of the Selection Committee.
